Lime Philly Freeze

"Another one taken from a Kraft magazine. The description in the magazine reads ' Cool, creamy and incredibly easy! This frozen fruity treat hits the spot on sunny days.' Sounds good to me! :o)"

  1. I just made this dessert from a Kraft calendar and looked it up on Food.com just to say that the recipe is really skimpy on the amount of oreos that need to be crushed. I tried using 12 as it suggests and it only covered half of the 9x9 pan. I had to go with double the oreos and butter in order to get a crust to cover the pan. That said... once I did that everything else worked out well and it tasted good! My family liked it! One other thing I added was one drop of green food coloring because the limeade gave it a yellowish color and I thought it should look more green.

Hello there! My name is Meagan and I currently live in the beautiful NW. I'm a mother and Ct/Xray tech by day, but aspriring chef at night! :D I absolutely love to cook and bake, the more challenging the recipe, the better. I have two awesome little girls and a loving husband at home, so luckily there are plenty of people to eat all those yummy dishes I make. I love to cook anything, but am far more selective in what I actually enjoy to eat. I like Mexican and Italian, and am in a search to creat the perfect bolognese sauce....theres a million of 'em out there, but none that have that just right taste...anyways...
