Linguine With Butter, Lemon and Garlic

  • Cook linguine until al dente, or slightly firm to the bite.
  • Drain, and mix with a Tbsp.
  • or two of olive oil; set aside.
  • Heat butter in a skillet and add lemon juice and salt.
  • Add garlic and cook about 1 minute.
  • Add to hot linguine and mix.
  • Serve immediately, sprinkled with Parmesan if desired.

  2. Just made this and all my 4 kids loved it. I too boiled my pasta with 2tbs of chicken bullion and served it with some teriyaki chicken its was a great lunch! Also added the parmesan cheese at the end with some fresh lemon juice ?? belizimoa
     
  3. Loved it! Boiled the pasta in chicken broth and reserved some liquid to add even more flavor and the starch helped thicken the broth. Made it on Father's Day with grilled lemon chicken and Ceasar salad. Went back for second helpings and there was not much left of anything - great combo! My seven year old assistant chef nailed it!
     
  4. Simple and tasty. Omitted the garlic and parmesan. A last little squeeze of lemon juice over the top after dishing out on plate. Will be making again. Served with recipe #14329
     
  5. This was an easy and tasty way to make pasta. After tasting it I did add some parsley flakes and some garlic powder to kick it up just a notch. Will make this again.

Tweaks

  1. Delicious dish, added it in with scallops, didn’t need to make any changes to the recipe. Wonderful dish, could mix this recipe with any fish or chicken, I will be making it again next week!
