"This is a good recipe for kids...young ones seem to like it. :) I tell them the peas are balls! Not bad for adults either....nothing like ham and swiss."

  1. Yum. I used some leftover ham that I had in the freezer. This was a simple, quick, and delicious dish. Thanks for sharing breezer.

  2. Wow, was this good. My picky one was in heaven, he loved it. Made as written but used leftover baked ham and Capellini noodles and Balderson Extra Old Cheddar cheese. (what I had on hand). This dish was quick and easy to make with excellent results. Great flavors and textures. Thanks for sharing a recipe that we will enjoy again Breezer.

  3. Kid-friendly, check. But as a "jaded" adult, I also loved this dish! I made 1/4 a recipe (2 shaved slices of ham), but used 2 oz. linguine. I'm keeping this on tap for "instant" dinners when DH has the patience of a gnat. Of course, I used the best deli ham at my deli, and Sargento's Artisan Swiss, but this mixture of flavors was comfort food at its best. Made for Photo Tag.
