“In addition to being incredibly refreshing on a hot summer day/evening, the icy texture of this beverage is divine!”
12hrs 10mins
15-16 cups approximately

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 8 cups water
  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen concentrate orange juice
  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 2 cups vodka

  1. Bring sugar and water to a boil, to create a simple syrup. Remove from heat and add orange juice and lemonade concentrates. Cool. Add vodka and stir well. Pour into 9 x 13 glass casserole dish, cover with plastic and freeze overnight. To serve, scrape off layers of slushy and scoop into a glass. Fill with soda (sprite, ginger ale, sparkling water---my preference). Stir and enjoy!
  2. If you want to speed up the process, reduce the amount of water used to make the simple syrup to 1 cup and use cold water for the balance.
  3. *You can try any combination of concentrated juices, such as mixed berry, limeade, etc. You can also use flavored vodka.
