directions

  • preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly butter a 9 by 5 loaf pan.
  • in a large bowl blend sugar,banana's,butter,vanilla and eggs- blend well- add yogurt and mix a little more.
  • add flour,baking powder,baking soda and salt- mix until throughly blended.
  • mix in any option at this point.
  • pour into loaf pan and bake on middle rack for 60 to 65 minutes.
  • let cool in pan for 15 to 20 minutes.

  1. I find myself going to this recipe again and again because it is so simple. I like to use vanilla Greek yogurt and add different nuts and dates.
     
  2. This banana bread is delish. I found that the batter was a bit thinner than most of the recipes Ive used before, but ended up having no problems. I did find that my bread turned an interesting brown shade inside...which has never happened to my banana bread before...lol. Thanks for another banana bread recipe!!!
