Lloyd's Hot Buttered Rum Batter

"My husband makes this every year during the holidays, and it's delicious! Instead of rum, we serve this with "White Christmas"; a combination of Rum and Brandy available in liquor stores around the holidays....( maybe all year round?). You can also omit the alcohol and just add hot water or milk."
