Love at First Bite

"I had a recipe book for kids when I was young. I have since lost that book but I remember this recipe well as it was one of my favorites. For kids too young to use a knife they can just use a plastic apple corer and then stuff the toppings inside the apple."

  2. A great little recipe to make with kids. The touch of cinnamon really raises the level of the standard peanut butter covered apple. Thanks for sharing. Tagged in Zaar Stars.

  3. I make this all the time! What a great little recipe :-)

  4. 5-stars outstanding for a few reasons: As a kids' recipe, it was a combination of easy-to-follow steps, fantastic kid-proven flavors, and not a huge mess for mom to clean up afterwards! My daughter and her friend made these for their lunch today, which was served with a few thick slices of homemade whole wheat bread slathered in butter, and a tall glass of cold milk. Delicious! Thanks for the fun, enteraining, and nutritious kids lunch, Nyteglori!

  5. I ADORE pb, cinnamon and raisens, but usually combine them with banana rather than apple. Tried this with almond butter too. Tasty, healthy snack!!

Married mother of twins. I very seldom ever use recipes as they are written, always modifying and adjusting them. Many times I will take three or four different recipes and come up with a new recipe based on those. <img src="http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e347/Saturn6666/KiwiDutch/3chefstag1.jpg">
