  1. Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 5.
  2. First mix the splenda, eggs, and diet cola with an electric whisk till it's well mixed and a bit frothy.
  3. Then sift the flour and cocoa powder into the wet ingredients.
  4. Fold together gently with a spatula, so as not to knock out all the air, or over-stretch the gluten in the flour.
  5. Pop this mixture into a lined 7in diameter tin, and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a cooling rack to finish cooling.
