Lowfat Molasses Oat Rolls

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 (1/2 ounce) packet dry yeast
- 3⁄4 cup skim milk
- 1⁄4 cup molasses
- 2 tablespoons heart healthy canola oil
- 1⁄2 cup oat bran
- 1 1⁄4 cups whole wheat flour
directions
- in a small bowl combine white flour and yeast and set aside.
- in a saucepan combine milk, molasses, cooking oil and salt.
- heat until just warm.
- add milk mixture to flour mixture.
- beat with an electric mixer on low speed.
- using a wooden spoon, stir in oat bran then stir in as much wheat flour as you can.
- turn down out and knead in remaining wheat flour.
- should make a stiff dough.
- put into a bowl and cover with a towel. in a warm place let it rise about1 hour.
- Punch dough down.
- turn into lightly floured surface.
- Divide in half and let rest 10 minutes.
- spray a large baking sheet with lowfat cooking spray.
- divide each half of dough into six pieces.
- shape each piece into a ball and place on cooking sheet 2 inches apart.
- cover and let rise 45 more minutes.
- bake at 375 for ten-12 minutes.

Even though I am still young (25) Life experince has aged me alot.
I learned to cook at both of my grandmother's knees (One southern American, one southern Irish) when I was about five. By ten I started collecting cookbooks and experinmenting on my own.
As a latch key kid I cooked for my four younger brothers and sisters.
My mom ran a small deli before she died when I was 17 so alot of my recies debuted there.
Now I run my own catering Buisness.
I am married to a wnderful man for five years now. I am a six year old daughter, sons who are four and three.
We are also raising my 14 year old sister and nine Year old stepsister and have a 16 year old foster daughter, all of which love cooking with me.
I am writing a cookbook with the hopes that when I pass I can leave my recipes for them
My cookbook collection has now reached over 1200.
