  • Use a 4-quart slow cooker; pour the water and juices into the slow cooker.
  • Stir in the sugar; add the whole cloves and the cinnamon stick.
  • Float the lemon slices on top.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours, or until heated through.
  • To serve guests, provide a ladle, leave the lid off, and turn the slow cooker to LOW; your drink will not stay hot enough if left on the warm setting.
