Lynda's Spaghetti Sauce

"My husband married me on the condition that I never buy a jar of spaghetti sauce and that I ALWAYS use his mother's recipe. No complaints here! (I pretty much never let it simmer a full hour, so I can't tell you if it actually needs to simmer that long, but I think 20 minutes cooking time is plenty.)"

  1. I really enjoyed this spaghetti sauce while DH didn't. For him, it was 3 stars. I used minced onion but a whole onion would have been great and also some fresh mushrooms. I'll have to try with onion and mushrooms. I liked that it was really easy. I liked the thickness of it. Thanks April :) Made for Alphabet tag game

  2. This sauce has a distinctly different texture than that of the sauces I often make (I usually like it more chunky), but the taste is extremely satisfying, for sure, & it's easy to prepare, too! As was stated in a previous review, it certainly is much better tasting than the purchased stuff! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in the current Pick A Chef]
