  1. cook macaroni in salted water, drain.
  2. melt butter and flour.
  3. add milk until heated, not boiling.
  4. add in seasonings, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  5. melt in cheese, slowly.
  6. pour into greased dish.
  7. lightly cover with breadcrumbs if desired.
  8. place into oven at 375 for 30 min or until lightly brown and bubbling nicely.
  9. cool for 5-10 and serve.
