  1. They made the house smell soooo gooooood and they tasted even better!

  2. Loved these cookies! DH tells me that these are the best. These taste just like the cookies from the bakery in town. I did change one thing just out of preference. I used half shortening and half butter.

  3. I made a half batch of these last week and absolutely loved them. The cookie is so buttery and flavorful and matches very well with the chips and nuts. I have a tempermental oven and found that I had to bake the cookies at 350 degrees to avoid too-done edges and not-done-enough centers. Thanks for a great recipe!

  4. I am the buy cookie dough kind of person, but thought I would give making some from scratch a try. I thought I might have gotten ahead of myself with Macadamia Nut Cookies (my favorite) but this was so easy to make and they came out DELISH!!!!

  5. Excellent cookie. I made the first batch on the large side, and they flowed together. After that I made sure to stick to the heaping teaspoon and it worked great. I also only baked for 8 minutes. Thanks for the recipe.

Tweaks

  1. very good, i used 1/4 cup water and 1 tbs of baking powder for replacing the eggs since im vegan, and instead of white chocolate, i used regular chocolate. it was so good :)

  2. I happen to be partial to brazil nuts instead of macadamia nuts. The chopped brazil nuts go perfectly with white chocolate in this type cookie.

Made some tremendous friends that I still think of often. I'll continue coming here because my recipes are here and so many more that I tried over the years as a member. It's just a tad boring now and just another recipe site like all the rest. Sad.
