  1. I liked this very much for a change of pace. I usually like my macaroni salad sweet and creamy. This was easy and I had all the ingredients on hand, except I used frozen peas and carrots rather than frozen peas.

  2. This is a classic tasty macaroni and pea salad recipe. I didnt have celery on hand, and used varying amounts of pasta, peas, onion, and cheese, but the same dressing amounts. It can be kind of bland so I'd like to try it with more seasonings.

  3. What a welcome change from reg. macaroni salad and for once I had all of the ingreds on hand! Used shredded cheddar(on hand). This salad is delicious and filling!

I grew up on a farm and learned to cook from scratch. By age 9 I could follow a recipe. So I have been cookng for a lot of years now. Besides cooking I enjoy bible study, church, crafts, collecting rings and Christmas ornaments, reading, collecting angels and visiting with friends via E mail. Have been married for over 30years and have four children, two of which are handicapped. The kids are all grown now and I am getting use to cooking smaller portions. Recently found out my husband has non-hodgkins-lymphomia. He will start treatment soon. Learning more about healthy eating and healthy cooking.
