  1. Fry bacon (save bacon grease to sauté onion).
  2. Sauté onion.
  3. Boil macaroni according to directions.
  4. Drain bacon.
  5. Drain onions.
  6. Drain macaroni.
  7. In a pot add all including tomatoes; and season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to high heat but don't boil (to prevent bitter tomatoes).
