“Entered for safe-keeping, from "The Best Bread Machine Cookbook Ever: Ethnic Breads" by Madge Rosenberg. Did you know that 2013 is the International Year of Quinoa? The Andean countries of Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador supply the healthy gluten-free quinoa grain (although this recipe also calls for bread flour). This is a sweet, cake-y bread, but protein-rich and vitamin-rich as well. Serve on a platter with sliced mango, pineapple or berries. For best flavor, make sure your ground cloves are fresh. Makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf.”
