  1. Mix and sift the dry ingredients.
  2. Cream butter, add sugar and eggs and vanilla; then add 1/3 of the flour mixture, fruit and nuts. Add more flour and liquid alternately until they are all used up. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Drop by teaspoonful on a greased pan.
  4. Bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes.
