Magic Spread

"This recipe is from the Failsafe Cookbook. It is a great recipe for allergy sufferers. It tastes just like lemon butter. The spread is great as a topping for yogurt, ice-cream, cheesecakes or on rice cakes or toast Recipe updated Nov 08 to add in the missing directions (Sorry Sydney Mike )"

  1. I cut this recipe back to just 1/3 of the total, but I tell you ~ It'll make a great addition to a holiday gift basket! LOVED THE TASTE! We used it on several things, including homemade pumpkin donuts! One thing bothered me at first, though ~ The directions didn't mention the sugar or eggs, so I whisked them together with the melted butter before microwaving it! {Made & reviewed as a recipenap in the Aus/NZ Recipe Swap #22]
