Mahi Mahi Burgers With Ginger and Hoisin

"Give it the Bass-o-matic treatment in a food processor, then chill and fry. salmon, tuna, amberjack, halibut and other steak-like fish would be fine substitutes for the mahi mahi. Prep time doesn't include the chilling."

  1. They had a great flavor, not fishy at all. Hubby said to add them to the rotation!

  2. such a good recipe, however 3 to 4 hours after eating this meal my bowels gave out. Was not pretty, gave the leftovers to the dog in the hopes that his stomach could handle it....nope...all over my floor. All I had to clean it up was a dirty dish rag, ended up using my hands for most of it. Washing my hands was not enough so I took a shower and cried the entire time. My suggestion is coat your stomach with milk so that the same does not happen to you

  3. Very nice. Used leftover Recipe#359693, so had to add a little egg to stick the mixture together, but seasoning was right on. Made as a sandwich with whole grain thin sandwich buns. Served with leftover sauce from #359693, and sauteed greens and oven fries.

  4. This was great, I served them on Hawaiian sweet rolls and couldn't make them fast enough. My wife and kids usually don't eat fish and they went nuts.

  5. I was just about to post this almost identical recipe but since yours is up, I'll just review it! I love these burgers. Few adjustments: I use a white onion instead of green onion and never thought to use garlic. I make mini burgers on wheat hawaiian rolls and serve with jalapeno/cilantro mayo. I will try my next batch with the hoisin sauce, that sounds interesting. Thanks!
