  1. Pre-heat the oven to 450.
  2. Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder.
  3. Mix in the sugar.
  4. Cut in the butter with a fork until meal-like crumbs form.
  5. Lightly beat the egg in a separate bowl.
  6. Add the milk.
  7. Add to the flour mixture.
  8. Briefly knead on a floured board.
  9. Roll out to 1/2 –inch thick.
  10. Cut into 2" squares.
  11. Place on a greased baking sheet and cook for 10 minutes (or until golden brown).
