  • Pudding:.
  • Preheat the oven to 180º Celsius/ 360ºF.
  • Mix together the baking soda and half a cup of milk. Put aside.
  • Grease an oven dish. I used a 20 x 30cm.
  • Mix together the rest of the ingredients, remember you already used ½ a cup of milk.
  • Add the baking soda mix.
  • Pour mixture into dish, bake till golden brown.
  • Before you pour the sauce over the pudding remember to press holes in the pudding with a fork, DO NOT let the pudding cool completely before you pour the sauce over, begin with the sauce a while before the pudding is ready.
  • Sauce:.
  • Mix everything together till it begins to boil.
  • Pour over pudding.
  • Let it stand for a while.
  • Serve with custard or ice cream.
