Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 cups fruit (or use fruit juice that you have on hand)
  • 23 cup water
  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (Fresh is best- this is optional but the syrup will keep longer if you add lemon juice)

Directions

  1. Puree the fruit in the water (if necessary) in a blender.
  2. Cook over medium heat until the mix thickens up.
  3. Serve warm or cold. Store in refrigerator- will keep for several weeks if it lasts that long!
