Mama's Coleslaw Dressing

I LOVE coleslaw in any way shape or form. While vacationing in Florida, I made the coleslaw using this dressing and it was a big hit with everyone I made the dressing a day ahead and all I had to do was just mix it with the cabbage just before serving. Thank you CookbookCarrie, for sharing this dressing recipe. (Be sure to thank Mama for me also :-)

It was great! We didn't have any celery seeds onhand, but it still made a great dressing.

Thanks so much this recipe. It's just like my grandmother taught me but \I never ad measurements so it came out different each time! Thanks to yu I nowe have the; exact measurements for the perfect dressing. I do usually add a heaping teaspoon of horseradish and grated onion for a little kick.

I didn't have any celery seeds on hand either but this dressing was still fabulous! I used the pre-shredded cabbage with carrots and added onions and green pepper. Good stuff!

This is addictive -- I've been craving it since I tried it the first time. Very quick to mix, with ingredients that are always on hand. (No more expired bottles of coleslaw dressing!)I use apple cider vinegar -- probably more like 2 or 3 tablespoons. Love the celery seed.
