Mandie's Chicken Salad
"This is a great taco like salad. It was served at my cousin Jenny's bridal shower 13 years ago and is still a big hit. The ingredients aren't exact because the recipe has been handed down through so many people. I promise you will love it."

- 1 head iceberg lettuce, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup nacho chip, crumbled
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1⁄2 cup green chili salsa
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
directions
- Mix dressing ingredients (bottom 6)together and toss with salad ingredients (top 6).
- Enjoy!

I love to socialize. Saturday night is usually an impromptu dinner with friends and games. Recently, I went wine tasting and loved it. I was never much for wine, I always prefered a cocktail. I am enjoying teaching my palate to distinguish flavors and it has helped with my cooking.
My knife skills are the worst. I need a class from Emeril. Thank GOD for the chopper!!
