Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 white cake mix (or just make homemade)
  • 2 cups mangoes, sliced with juice
  • 14 cup brandy (peach nice)
  • 14 cup mango, preserved (jam...pineapple would also be good)
  • 1 cup whipping cream

Directions

  1. Make cake. Cook in 1 layer pan.
  2. Mix brandy and mango juice. While cake is still warm, prick the top in 1/2 inch intervals. Slowly spoon brandy mix over the cake.
  3. Carefully spread preserves on top of the cake.
  4. Arrange mango slices on top of that.
  5. Whip cream.
  6. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
  7. Store in fridge.
