Mango Margarita
"This is my favorite flavored margarita. It is a beautiful color and really is quite delicious. This uses mango nectar not watered down mango juice - you can find it in your Hispanic section of the grocery store if it is not in the juice section. We drink them all the time during the summer. Use the best quality tequila you can afford.... you will thank me later."

ingredients
- sugar, for rim (optional)
- 1 lime, quarters
- 118.29 ml tequila, good quality
- 28.34 28.34 g Cointreau liqueur or 28.34 g Grand Marnier
- 157.80 ml mango nectar
- 177.44 ml partially frozen mango (prefer individual quick frozen or fresh) (optional)
- 56.69 g simple syrup or 56.69 g sour mix
- 44.37 ml lime juice
- 236.59 ml ice cube
- lime, slices garnish
directions
- Rim margarita, hurricane-style glass or cocktail glasses with sugar, if inclined.
- Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor if using fresh or frozen mango. Otherwise, pour into cocktail shaker and shake.
- Strain into glasses. Squeeze juice from 1 lime quarter into each drink and garnish glass with lime slice.

These are simply the BEST frozen mango margaritas! If you have a margarita machine to make them in, they are even better! Wouldn't change a thing! -
Delicious! I used Goya frozen pulp and Goya mango nectar in a can. I didn't use the simple syrup. It was very tasty. I blended it in my Nutribullet.

Loved this drink! Made just as written, using Patron, triple sec, frozen mango and sweet/sour mix. It was like having an adult mango Slurpy! ;-) DH wasn't wild about the heavy mango taste but that's more than ok - I got to drink all of it. Thanks for sharing your recipe! -
I LOVE this recipe - mango margaritas are my favorite and this one is lovely!! I must admit to making it with what I had on hand - Ciclon - as I seemed to be out of my usual tequilla - but it was still delightful!! Thanks for a KEEPER mango margarita recipe!! I would rank it more than 5* if I could!!

I live in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina on Butler Mountain. I am a mystery shopper for restaurants and retail establishments. I graduated from UNC-Asheville with a BFA in art (photography).
I was just recently married in Costa Rica to KC and his 6 year old son, Ty. Our wedding was perfect and I will cherish the memories forever. Leslie, Mama's Kitchen, sassafrasnanc, Mommy Diva and Chef V attended the wedding with their husbands!! Leslie's daughter Sarah was our flower girl and her hubby Wayne was our talented musician! I had the time of my life!!!

Our family is rounded out with 6 Bengals, 1 Jack Russell Terror named Harley, a ferret named Mason, giant gold fish, a water dragon named Crusoe, a Beautiful Appaloosa/Arabian named Sassy, a stunning Palomino Quarter Horse named Sweet Pea and a gorgeous black Standardbred named Domino! We also have added a Leopard Appaloosa rescue horse to the mix. Her name is Pebbles and she is lovely!

I love Zaar! I have so many wonderful friends here and I really enjoy being a Forum Host. I love the games in the Contest & Events Forum! The games are addictive and a great opportunity to meet the members of this community. I had a blast co-hosting the first Zaar World Tour 2005 with ~Leslie~. Zaar World Tour II doubled in size and ~Leslie~ and I were joined with co-hosts Mama�s Kitchen and kzbhansen. Zaar World Tour 3 doubled again in size and Leslie, Mama's Kitchen and I were joined with SusieD, PanNan and JustCallMeToni! We also established the "Whine and Cheese Gang" which was a wonderful team that was put together to help all the teams playing. Zaar World Tour IV will be bigger and even better!!!
