Ingredients: 1 1/2 quarts mangoes, chunks; 3 1/2 cups sugar; 1 quart roasted pecan (peanuts, walnuts, macadamia or whatever); 1/4 cup water

"Nice mango sauce. Original recipe said it was just an ice cream topping...however I can imagine this on pancakes, waffles, crepes, cakes etc."

ingredients

1 ¹⁄₂ quarts mangoes, chunks
3 ¹⁄₂ cups sugar
1 quart roasted pecan (peanuts, walnuts, macadamia or whatever)
¹⁄₄ cup water

directions

Bring mangos, sugar and water to a boil in heavy pan. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened and has smooth consistency, stirring frequently.
Add nuts and cool.
Serve over ice cream or over anything you want.
