- French bread
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1⁄2 cup maple syrup
- 12 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
directions
- Place bread crumbs in a large casserole. In large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in whipping cream and maple syrup; beat until well combined. Beat in eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Pour mixture over bread, pressing into bread into mixture. Cover and chill for 8 hours. Allow pan to come to room temp, about 30 minutes. Top with aluminum foil and bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake 18-22 minutes longer or until center is set and top is golden brown. Serve with additional maple syrup.
