Maple Nut Butter

"This is wonderful on scones! I recently had friends stay in a Bed and Breakfast near my home. I met them every morning there and was served breakfast with them. This was served with the B&B's Dried Cherry Scones. We all loved it! I will post the recipe for Dried Cherry Scones on this site."

 1. We gobbled this up. Only 4 stars because I thought 1 tsp. of maple syrup wasn't even close. I probably ended up with more like 1-2 T. But yummmmmy. I love the texture of the chopped nuts. Served the first night on biscuits and with cornbread the next. A definate keeper.

 2. This was delicious served with cranberry scones. I eyeballed the amounts, but the combination is great, and can be adjusted to personal preference.

I love to cook, but don't have a lot of time to do it, since I work full time. I like to try a new recipe every Saturday, if time allows.

I have one grown son and three grandaughters ages 16,10 and 3. The ten year old has won many medals in gymnastics meets over the past few years.
