  1. I loved the cherry and cheese combination with the crunchy almonds (I used sliced almonds, not slivered). I scaled this way back since it was just me using 3-4 cherries and a little juice and didn't add any milk because I thought the consistency was perfect! I wasn't sure what to serve it on this time... although after tasting I was thinking that those thin ginger snaps would be just the thing! (too bad I didn't have any) Made for ZWT4.

  2. Nice mellow spread. Everyone enjoyed it. I used a 227g cream cheese brick since that is the standard size in the US. I added extra cherries and a tad more juice so it wouldn't seem so cream cheesy. This definitely needs to chill a bit to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. I made this for myself, as an afternoon snack with graham crackers. Wonderful flavor, and I appreciated the crunch from the almonds. I can definitely see making this for a shower or to share with friends, served with fruit or gingersnaps. Thanks for sharing a tasty recipe, **Mandy**!

  4. Yummy! I mixed up a quarter of this to use on a mini pumpkin bread and it was awesome! I skipped the milk as it seemed unnecessary. I also skipped the almonds since the bread had walnuts in it but when I make it again for on bagels I will use the almonds. Thanks for sharing!

  5. I've enjoyed this on my wheat bagel for a couple mornings, and it does taste better after chilling. I used the standard sized package of cream cheese, so I also added a bit more cherries. This is a light and yummy way to start the day! <br/>Thank you for sharing.

Melbourne I live on a 5 acre property in the Dandenong Ranges Victoria, Australia, having moved from the burbs when I became pregnant with my now 15 year old daughter Alyssa. Once my daughter was born I became a stay at home mum as I couldn't bear the thought of putting her in daycare. She is the light of my life, I never imagined myself as a mum when younger but now wouldn't have it any other way. Alyssa was made a big sister on the 19th April 2010 when our cheeky little boy Blake was born. I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes so quickly become addicted to Zaar as it was previously known & still use it regularly. In addition to being my kids taxi  I also spend my time, reading, gardening and of course shopping. I'm lucky enough that we have the space & so love growing our own fruits, vegies & herbs, this also means we have plenty of room for animals & at the moment have 2 dogs, Max, a Jackshund who's 6, Fletcher, a Kelpie who's 4, 6 cats Snowpea, Fergus, Ginger, Tango, Annie & Cookie, 4 chooks & 2 Ducks. As well as our pets, we also have a lot of native animals around our area, we have kangaroos, wombats, echidna's, possums as well as rosella's, galah's & Cockatoo's hence the name of where I live..
