"This is a great tasting, ridiculously simple hashbrown casserole. It's juicy, cheesy, and always a crowd pleaser. You may want to make two as guests always come back for seconds!"

  1. This is rather good. I cut the recipe in half. It as easy to make. It may have been the brand of hash browns I used (store brand), but by the time the potatoes were done, they were more like tasty mashed potatoes. I will be making this again but will use a different brand of hash browns. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Made for the PAC Fall 2007 game.

  2. We really liked this but I added a lot of salt and pepper to the mixture. I also didn't add the topping as I didn't need the extra carbs. Will make again. Made for Fall PAC 2007.

  3. This was a very tasty, very attractive dish. I made it for a potluck at work. It was enjoyed by all. I followed the recipe exactly. I used yellow onions and medium cheddar cheese.

I am a 21 female from the East Coast of Canada. I have many hobbies and passions but one of my favorite pastimes is cooking and all things food lol. I love to cook and create and I am always looking for new and unique ways of preparing food. I have only one rule when in the kitchen and that is to at least try everything. I will never say I don't like something without having a spoonful first. What have you got to lose? My biggest pet peeve is just that... those who will turn there nose up without even tasting the plate in front of them. These people truly miss out on a lot of great things in life!
