  • Saute onions. When soft, add garlic and spices and cook another 30 seconds. Add red wine and cook until alcohol smell clears the air. Add tomato paste and cook a few minutes. Add tomatoes, diced and sauce. Bake for 3-4 hours 250 to 275 deg oven for 5 hours. Stir in 1/4 Cup parmesan cheese while hot.
