“This is from the My Great Recipes collection. Makes a nice cake-y muffin. I have replaced the blueberries with other things with good results (chocolate chips, peaches, fresh strawberries), but then, of course you have to change the name :-)”

  1. Cream the 1/4 c butter with 3 Tbps sugar and 3 Tbsp bown sugar until light. Beat in egg.
  2. Combine the flour with the baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk until just combined. Do not overmix, Fold in blueberries.
  3. Spoon into prepared muffin pans, Sprinkle on the topping (see step 4) and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool one minute before removing from pan.
  4. FOR TOPPING: Combine 1/4 c brown sugar, 1/2 c flour, and 1/3 tsp cinnamon into a small bowl. Cut in 1/4 c butter. Spinkle over muffins before baking.
