Ingredients Nutrition

  • 800 g filet of beef (whole piece)
  • 250 g garlic butter
  • 150 g fresh button mushrooms
  • 50 g parsley, finely chopped
  • 50 ml fresh cream

Directions

  1. Slice the Fillet as you would garlic bread. Better done when fillet is still slightly frozen.
  2. Butter each slice with the garlic butter.
  3. Sprinkle with seasoning.
  4. Place in a pre heated oven.
  5. Keep an eye on it - it should be sizzling and slightly rare inside.
  6. While cooking cut up mushrooms and cook in remaining garlic butter (make sure there isn't too much liquid).
  7. Just before serving slice fillets and plate, add a splash of fresh cream to the mushrooms, pour over the fillet.
  8. Sprinkle with some finely chopped parsley and serve.
