Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Butter a 8x12 baking dish.
  3. Whip together mashed potatoes, black pepper, salt, cream cheese, milk, egg and butter until smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Fold in half of onions; spread over bottom and up of sides of prepared dish to form a shell.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Arrange hot broccoli in shell.
  8. Sprinkle cheese and remaining onions over top.
  9. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes more, or until done.
