  1. place scrubbed potatoes wrapped loosly in damp paper towel in the microwave -- cook for 3-4 minutes at a time until done .approx 12 mins total -- they are done when a butter knife slides through them easily.
  2. while potatoes are cooking place butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. when potatoes are done place on top of butter in bowl and chop coarsly using 2 butter knives in a criss cross pattern.
  4. add cream cheese, sour cream , dill, salt and pepper to bowl and mash -- add milk in while mashing until desired texture is reached.
