Directions

  1. Soak gelatin in water and set aside.
  2. Scald milk in a double broiler then slowly pour over beaten egg yolks, stirring constantly to prevent curdling.
  3. REturn egg-milk mixture to double broiler
  4. Add salt, mustard, paprika.
  5. Cook over simmering water, stirring constant until mixture is thick enough to coat spoon.
  6. Pour into pint jar.
  7. Cover and chill.
  8. Stir before using.
