- 1 lb ground beef
- 1⁄2 lb ground pork
- 1⁄4 cup green pepper
- 1⁄4 cup diced onion
- 1 egg
- 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1 (1 1/2 ounce) package meatloaf seasoning mix
- 3⁄4 cup ketchup
- 5 slices bacon
directions
- Mix meat, seasoning, green peppers, onion, egg, bread crumbs and 1/2 cup ketchup. Form into loaf in 9x13 inch pan. Spread 1/4 cup ketchup over top of the meat loaf and place 5 slices of bacon lengthwise on top of ketchup. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
