  • 1 12 lbs ground meat
  • 1 cup small bread cubes
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 14 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 5 refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

  • Mix 1/2 cup bouillon with bread cubes and add egg. Let stand about 5 minutes or until croutons are softened, beat until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add meat, onion, salt and pepper.
  • Shape into loaf. Place in shallow baking pan.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • Separate crescent rolls, place crosswise over top and down sides of loaf, overlapping slightly.
  • Bake 15 minutes more.
