- 1⁄2 lb ground pork
- 1⁄2 lb lean ground beef, not less than 85%
- 1 lb ground fresh maple sausage, fresh maple links chopped or ground in a food processor in a pinch
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup whole milk or 3/4 cup half-and-half cream, will work
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 3⁄4 cup crushed saltine crackers
- 2⁄3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3⁄4 cup ketchup
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
directions
- Combine all ingredients in large bowl except for ketchup and brown sugar. Mix well. Place in a loaf baking pan, form into the shape of a loaf. Mix ketchup and brown sugar together. Once mixed well, spread over top of meatloaf. Cover, and bake 350F for 1 hour, to 1 hour 15 minute.
