  • Combine all the ingredients for the meatballs and mix thoroughly.
  • Shape into 1-1/2-inch balls.
  • Place on a foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
  • Drain well on paper towel!
  • Meanwhile heat sauce ingredients in a large frying pan, stirring to mix; add meatballs and toss to coat; simmer covered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  1. I absoultely loved it. The only changes I made were that I used only ground beef and italian crumbs. The basil and salsa inside the meatballs gave this dish a unique delicious flavor and the sauce complimented it well. It had just the right amount of tang and sweetness.
