  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 6 slices potato bread, approximately
  • 12 cup water (soak bread in water)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 dash ketchup
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped finely
  • 1 onion, chopped finely

Directions

  1. Squeeze excess liquid from water soaked bread.
  2. Mix all ingredients.
  3. Shape into loaf.
  4. Cover & bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  5. Uncover & bake until browned, 5-10 minutes.
