Meatloaf and Stuffed Peppers

- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed
- 6 green peppers, halved
directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Arrange peppers on a baking sheet.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl.
- Stuff peppers with meatloaf mixture. Put remaining meatloaf mixture in loaf pans, or a 9x13 baking dish.
- Bake peppers for 45 minutes, until meat is no longer pink. Bake meatloaf in pan for 1 hour, until meat is no longer pink.
- Let each stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
