Mediterranean Salad With Homemade Dressing
"Your own fresh salad with your own dressing. Prepare yourself for a very authentic taste! All measurements are approximate. The best cucumbers for this salad are the kind that are sold in the street fruit markets. They are small and are called "pickling cucumbers", but they are not pickled. These are the ONLY ones that taste real today."

Dressing
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash thyme
- 1 dash oregano

Salad
- 2 cups lettuce
- 1⁄2 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 small cucumber
- 1⁄4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
directions
- Mix up all the dressing ingredients with a whisk.
- Toss together the salad and mix in the dressing.
