  1. Melt butter in microwave on high for 45 to 60 seconds.
  2. Stir in half the taco seasoning.
  3. Add 4 cups cereal and mix until all is evenly coated.
  4. Microwave on high for two minutes stirring every minute.
  5. Brown ground beef in skillet over med high then drain.
  6. Stir in the remaining taco seasoning and the water.
  7. Simmer for 5 minutes stir occasionally.
  8. Layer cereal, ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese in serving dish.
  9. Top with remaining cereal.
  10. Serve with salsa and sour cream.
