ingredients
- 400 g cream cheese
- 1 cup salsa
- 1⁄2 cup of shredded lettuce
- 1⁄2 cup diced tomato
- 1⁄4 cup of sliced black olives
- 1⁄4 cup of diced onion
- tortilla chips
directions
- soften the cream cheese, soft enough to spread on a platter.
- Add the salsa,lettuce,onion,tomato,oliveH.
- Spread out evenly onto cream cheese.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Dip with tortilla or doritos chips.

This was indeed a quick to fix dip - a last minute preparation for me today when family decided to drop by. Had the ingredients on hand. I did change one thing, I mixed 1/2 cup mayo with the creme cheese, which made it much easier to dip the chips into (and scoop up)! -
I have made this many times and it is quick, delicious and easy. It is a very versatile dip. You can add other things to the layers if you like, such as refried beans or quacamole. I always use chopped green onions. It is always very popular with anyone I have ever served it to.
