  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices white bread, torn into small pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 13 cup milk
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten, with white reserved
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 18 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg white, beaten from the reserved egg white
  • 1 cup corn flakes, crushed
  • oil, for browning
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 12 cup water

directions

  • Combine ground beef, bread, onion, milk, egg yolk, salt, and pepper and form into balls.
  • Roll balls in egg white and then in crumbs.
  • Brown in hot oiled skillet and then place in a slow cooker.
  • Combine soup, pepper, and water, and pour over meatballs.
  • Cover and cook on low 8 hours, or on low for 3-4 hours.

I started to learn to cook, after I got married, when my wife started working nights, and I couldn't get around because I had my entire left leg rebuilt. I just completed remodeling my entire house, and am very active at volunteering at my childrens schools.<br />Rating System <br />5 stars- Outstanding (4 out 4 ) in family enjoyed. <br />4 stars - Very good (3 out of 4) in family enjoyed. Will make no adjustments. <br />3 stars - good, might consider an adjustment <br />2 stars- Okay- will make adjustment <br />1 star- debatable I will make again, would with right adjustment <br />0 stars - Will not attempt again.</p>
