  • Combine Picante Sauce and water in a 10 or 12 inch skillet.
  • Stir in pasta and ground beef. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, uncover, stir gently and let stand for five minutes.
  • Stir in sour cream. Serve immediately and top with cheese.
  • For a sweeter version: Substitute 1lb. cooked, cubed chicken for the ground beef, and peach or pineapple salsa for the chunky picante sauce.
