  1. Pretty good and very easy to make. I didn't read the recipe carefully and didn't realize until I started making it that the black beans are supposed to be precooked--I was a bit worried but threw them in the crockpot on high for a few hours and they came out fine. I added a bit of vegetable broth to compensate. A nice change of pace. Thanks, Dancer.

  2. This recipe is great. Instead of chili powder I use a fresh jalapeno and a red bell paper for extra flavor. Instead of the water I use a can of beer (oh yeah!). Also if you're really motivated fry up some crispy bacon and add that as it will give it a really yummy taste. Killer recipe. I took this to a Hawaii football game and everyone ate it up.

  3. This is JUST what I was looking for! I have been wanting this recipe for awhile, so Thank You, Dancer! I had to improvise about 16 oz of HOT salsa for the tomatoes, but it gave it just the right amount of heat for me!
