Mexican Soup

"This is my favorite Mexican soup. Its a mixture of several recipes I've come across over the years. I'm not really sure about measurements as I just kind of throw it together, but I will do my best."

  • Dissolve chicken bouillon in water.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except cilantro.
  • Boil for 10 minutes or until onions are tender.
  • Add cilantro right before serving.

  1. Because we like our soup with a little more spice, I added 3/4 tsp each of smoked paprika and chipotle chili powder. I left out the lime juice, allspice, and cilantro as I did not have them in the house. Thanks for the recipe
